London Tech Week is a little more than a month away and unsurprisingly, Fintech will be top of the agenda.

With the industry subject to constant flux, as new technologies are developed almost every day, The Global Fintech Summit, which takes place between the 8th and 12th of May, is likely to be one of the highlights of the week.

Startups developing new payment systems, personal banking apps, fraud reduction technology, blockchain, bitcoin and other digital currency solutions are receiving substantial quantities of investment from venture capital firms, and their products are creating opportunities for new and established firms alike.

The Global Fintech Summit will see members of the Young President’s Organization’s Financial Services Network and Deal Network descend upon London’s Financial district to discuss the latest trends and what the future holds for the rapidly growing Fintech industry.

Chairing the event will be Anthony Ginsburg of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) Hollywood and Ignacio Macias of YPO Madrid, who have arranged exclusive access to level 39, Europe’s largest Fintech accelerator.

The conference will form part of YPO’s “Innovation Week 2017”,  a series of more than 50 events around the world led by business leaders designed to drive innovation in products and strategies.

YPO Innovation week will bring together some of the world’s most dynamic innovators and give them the opportunity to network, overturn conventional thinking and be inspired by actionable applicable insight, say the organisers.

YPO has more than 24,000 members in more than 130 countries, across the numerous industries and types of business. YPO member-run company’s  employ more than 15 million people, and generate $6 trillion in annual revenues.

YPO is a not-for-profit whose mission is to develop “better leaders through lifelong learning and idea exchange”.

Members of YPO are typically business leaders under the age of 45 who hold the position of CEO, Managing Director, Company President, Chairman or equivalent, at companies with more than 50 employees and annual sales totalling $13 million dollars.

As well as The Global Fintech Summit in London, YPO Innovation Week events will be taking place in Melbourne, Australia, Silicon Valley, California, Tel Aviv, Israel, Toronto, Canada, New York, and Hong Kong.
