Investoo Group, the London-based start-up that aims to become “one of the biggest lead generation companies in the Forex and retail investment industry”, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired 100ForexBrokers.com.
100ForexBrokers.com was launched in 2012 and has become one of the world’s biggest Forex broker comparison sites, with more than 60,000+ unique visitors per month, plus hundreds of real user reviews.
The deal is Investoo Group’s largest to date, since the company completed its first round of investment, a $2m Seed round led by Optimizer Invest, in late 2016.
“This acquisition generates a huge boost to our company revenues and user base”, commented Investoo Group’s CEO Adam Grunwerg; “100Forexbrokers.com is already one of the world’s biggest Forex broker comparison websites. We aim to capitalise on the acquisition by improving its commercial arrangements, adding new languages and launching a new mobile responsive version of the website”.
With the acquisition, Investoo Group will extend its reach into the Forex trading industry; Investoo.com already offers educational Forex training, as well as a Forex signals service SnipetheTrade.com.
Investoo also recently agreed to acquire the leading Forex and Binary Options education training service and YouTube channel Tradingaxis.com, in March of this year.
David Merry, Chairman of the Board at Investoo Group, confirms that acquisitions would represent a central part of the groups’ growth strategy.
“We are actively looking for partnerships with players in the industry which can add value to our portfolio of websites”, he said.
“A key part of our growth strategy is building a comprehensive online trading educational package and acquisitions allow us to do that at a much faster pace”.
Partner at Optomizer Invest Henrik Persson Ekdahl also commented: “the acquisition of 100ForexBrokers.com marks another big and important step towards becoming the largest player in the FX, CFD and options affiliate industry, and I congratulate the team that’s closed this deal”.
Investoo has grown from 3 to 15 employees its first four months of activity. Besides Optomizer Invest, the group are backed by online technologies enterprise Kinetic Investments.
Investoo’s training school offers courses in more than eight languages.
Sam Miranda has also invested in Investoo. Alongside David Merry, also a partner at Kinetic, Miranda sold Right Casino Media to Catena Media PLC in November 2015 for $9 milllion dollars.
Miranda will help to oversee the development of educational products, Community and increased marketing efforts.
Optimizer Invest are a Scandinavian investment company and the largest single shareholders in Catena Media PLC, one of the world’s biggest iGaming lead generation companies.
Investoo has 50,000 members; Carla Maree Vella, CEO of Optimizer Invest commented at the time of the seed funding; “the investment is a natural next step for us. Optimizer has extensive experience in lead generation that we now want to implement in more areas. Foreign exchange and options trading are segments we believe in and where a lot is still undone.
“Investoo has built a business with great content and ease-of-use that we will develop further.”
